The common room video is made to help people visiting the fictional home understand what it's like for the characters to live and work there. The cast is made up of both professional actors, and also non-professional actors from the local community in Deptford. These characters are based on the actors themselves to allow them to remain in character for long periods of time - sometimes even we wouldn't know when they were acting or not!

We created an introduction video for each person at The Home. When audience members visit the digital app, they can click on each character's avatar and these welcome videos pop up. There were a range of videos, from comedic to more serious - as we explored themes of what it means to live / work in a residential care home.

Here's a video we made to introduce Gilly, a resident at the fictional care home. This time we were inspired by Tik Tok trends, typically associated with younger people. The idea was to create some high energy videos that audiences might not expect!
